The New England Patriots are worth an estimated $6.7 billion, and Robert Kraft claims he will never sell them
According to Bloomberg, Patriots owner Robert Kraft claims to have zero interest in selling the team. He even hopes that his ancestors will continue to run the Patriots for a considerable amount of time.
The Patriots were purchased by the rich Kraft Group CEO and Chairman in 1994 for approximately $172 million. He has always been a fan of football, but high school practice and games interfered with the Jewish Sabbath, so he was unable to participate. However, he attended Columbia College on a full academic scholarship while playing football before enrolling in Harvard Business School and joining the family’s paper and packaging business.
Tom Brady has led the Patriots to become one of the most illustrious dynasties in the game since he assumed charge of the franchise. Over the course of his 20 seasons with the franchise, the quarterback guided the Pats to six Super Bowl victories before leaving for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
It appears that the 82-year-old billionaire will be quite happy without the additional cash flow that a sale would provide, given that he is worth an astounding $8.2 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
