Tesla Has Finally Delivered the First Cybertrucks

Tesla has finally delivered its first Cybertrucks to excited customers, a four-year-long process.

Elon Musk touted the vehicle’s usability and performance in a live video from its Texas headquarters on Thursday before allowing the first owners to drive their Cybertruck out of the facility.

Musk recently stated that there are more than 1 million clients on the waiting list, but he did not provide price or manufacturing estimates.

Analysts believe it to be tough to expand manufacturing of the vehicles and do not expect it to move the needle for the firm this year.

Tesla originally announced the car in 2019, suggesting that it will be available by late 2021. This was subsequently moved out to 2022, but the corporation had to navigate the pandemic and its associated supply chain challenges.

Overall deliveries at the firm fell in the third quarter of this year as a result of shutting down production at key sites to retool for the Cybertruck.
