According to the Mexico-Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce and China HomeLife, over 3,000 Asian enterprises have already moved in Mexico as a result of the phenomena of supply chain relocation or nearshoring, with those of Chinese origin having the greatest presence in the nation.
Chinese firms are followed by Taiwanese firms, and within Chinese firms, those from Hong Kong stand out, making Mexico, along with Brazil, the Latin American nations where the majority of Asian firms invest.
According to China HomeLife statistics, the United States led worldwide investment announcements between January and November 2023, with $20.353 billion, just ahead of China ($8.143 billion) and South Korea ($3.746 billion).
