Popeyes to invest $9 million dollars in 2024 to expand in Mexico

Popeyes, a fried chicken restaurant, plans to invest $9 million this year to expand from 36 to 50 locations nationwide.
During a press conference, Bryan Rojas Áviles, the Commercial Director of Popeyes in Mexico, clarified that the investment will additionally facilitate the generation of over 450 new employment opportunities in the nation.
The chain currently operates eateries in Querétaro, Mexico City, Jalisco, Nuevo Leon, and Estado de Mexico.
The corporation hopes to reach places like Michoacan, Morelos, Puebla, Tlaxcala, Hidalgo, Guanajuato, and San Luis Potosi with its investment.
Despite having been in business for more than 50 years, the corporation has only recently begun operations in the nation.
The company has also introduced products with habanero flavor, the chili bell pepper that is thought to be the hottest in the nation, in an effort to cater to the traditional Mexican appetite for spicy flavors.
Popeyes believes that this year’s expansion will be its most extensive to date in the nation.
