If Trump wins, he wants Musk to be an advisor
According to an exclusive story published in The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) on Wednesday, billionaire Elon Musk has offered Republican nominee Donald Trump a post as an advisor should he win the November elections.
The media also claims that Musk is promoting a campaign “among elitist circles” across the country to ask them not to vote for Joe Biden, and cites among the promoters of this campaign the investor Nelson Peltz.
It was in a mansion of Peltz in Palm Beach (Florida) where one Sunday morning a group of powerful businessmen met with Trump at a breakfast meeting and discussed the elections and the possible role Musk could play in case of Republican victory, always according to the WSJ.
Previously, Elon Musk was a donor to both Republican and Democratic politicians, but lately he declared that he does not want to simply support a candidate with money and that he intends to have a more concrete influence on politics.
In May 2022 he declared his formal break with the Democratic Party for having “become the party of division and hate,” and announced that he would vote Republican.
