Elon Musk said that Tesla will have humanoid robots for internal usage by the following year
Months after forecasting a late 2024 debut, Tesla CEO Elon Musk claimed on Monday that the business will have humanoid robots in «low production» for internal usage by the end of the following year.
By 2026, the carmaker «hopefully» will have the robots in high production for other businesses, according to a post made by Musk on the social networking site X.
Optimus, the robot developed by Tesla, is expected to be available for sale by the end of 2025 and be able to do industrial activities by the end of this year, according to Musk’s April statements.
For a number of years, Boston Dynamics of Hyundai Motor and Honda of Japan have been working on humanoid robot development. Businesses are depending on them to handle repetitive, potentially hazardous, or tiresome jobs like manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics in the event of a labor shortage.
