Foxconn invests $241 million to produce AI servers in Mexico
Taiwanese technology company Hon Hai, known worldwide as Foxconn, announced an investment of US$241.2 million in Mexico to expand its production capacity for artificial intelligence (AI) servers.
Through one of its subsidiaries in Singapore, Foxconn will increase its shareholding in its subsidiary in the North American country, FII AMC Mexico, for a total of 241.2 million dollars, the company said in a statement.
Last February, Foxconn invested 453 million pesos through its subsidiary in Mexico to purchase a 421,600 square meter plot of land in the State of Jalisco, as part of the expansion of its international production of AI servers.
