The CEO of OpenAI disputes the idea that reorganization is connected to executive exits

On the same day, Reuters reported that OpenAI was working on a plan to restructure its core business into a for-profit benefit corporation that will no longer be controlled by its nonprofit board, in a move aimed at making the company more attractive to investors.
OpenAI CEO Altman claimed during a speech on stage at the Italian Tech Week conference in Turin that «some things» that were published concerning senior exits were untrue and that the personnel changes had nothing to do with restructuring.
“A lot of the things I saw were also totally wrong, but we’ve been thinking about that (restructuring), our board has been doing that, for almost a year, independently, as we think about what it takes to get to our next stag
