Banorte lowers rates for Women SMEs: What is the new boost for Mexican women entrepreneurs about?

Grupo Financiero Banorte announced a reduction in financing rates for its Mujer PyME product, which encompasses all micro, small and medium-sized firms run by women, as part of Plan Mexico.
«We share President Claudia Sheinbaum’s conviction to boost the growth of SMEs.
We are very pleased to support small and medium-sized companies led by women and thereby continue to contribute to Mexico’s development,» said Carlos Hank González, Chairman of the Board of Grupo Financiero Banorte, on the eve of the start of the 88th Banking Convention, which is being held in Nuevo Nayarit-Vallarta, Nayarit, and which President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo will attend.
He recalled that the country’s private sector-sponsored Plan aims to ensure that 30% of small and medium-sized companies have access to financing by 2030, which entails growing the country’s credit availability by 3.5% annually.
