Despite reporting strong first-quarter earnings and projecting strong demand for artificial intelligence servers, Foxconn, a major supplier to Apple and Nvidia, on Wednesday lowered its outlook for the full year 2025. The company is the latest to express concerns and reduce projections, citing uncertainty over U.S. tariffs.

Foxconn said it was being more cautious and “slightly adjusting its outlook for significant growth from strong growth,” and company president Young Liu noted : “Rapid changes in U.S. tariff policies have significantly impacted the global supply chain…with recent exchange rate fluctuations adding to the uncertainty.”
