One billion dollars will be invested by Royal Caribbean in two Quintana Roo tourism developments

Michael Bayley, the CEO of Royal Caribbean, announced that the company will invest $1 billion in two projects in Mexico.
He announced the six new destinations that would be added to its itineraries over the following three years during his presentation at its annual forum in New York. Among them are Perfect Day Mexico in Mahahual, which will open in 2027, and Royal Beach Club Cozumel, which will open in 2026.
Mexico is Royal Caribbean’s top destination, with 80% of its passengers being from the United States.
“Perfect Day Mexico will launch in 2027 with Western Caribbean itinerary visits sailing from Galveston, New Orleans and all Florida homeports. Itineraries will be available for booking beginning in the fall of 2025,” it was explained at the event.
