The Banker recognizes Banorte for its use of artificial intelligence

During the “Technology Awards 2025” of the prestigious international publication The Banker, Banorte received special recognition for its use of technology.
The award recognizes the advances in Banorte Móvil, which with the development of Artificial Intelligence boosted financial inclusion for the visually impaired and the biometric verification process.
The economic magazine also praised the Mexican bank for digitalizing the process of opening automotive loans, increasing its ability to receive remittances from both clients and non-customers, and electronically opening insurance policies.
The Banorte Contact Center uses the Elina platform to integrate 25 systems in one location, decreasing the average customer service time from 10 minutes to 50 seconds.
The bank was able to expand its biometric verification process beyond the index finger to include the registration of any of the ten fingerprints.
“We are very pleased to have won this award from The Banker. This award recognizes us as an innovative, inclusive, customer-focused financial institution and market leader in Latin America,” said Carlos Hank González, Chairman of the Board of Grupo Financiero Banorte.
