Banorte, under the leadership of Carlos Hank-González, has been acknowledged by Euromoney as Mexico’s Best Bank for SMEs

For 2025, Banorte was recognized by Euromoney as the Best Bank for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Mexico. With this acknowledgment, it reestablishes its dedication to the economic advancement of the country and its emphasis on the genuine requirements of small and medium-sized businesses.
“This recognition is a reflection of our constant work to be close to our clients, understand their challenges, and support them with real solutions. This award aligns with the support we provide to President Claudia Sheinbaum’s “Mexico Plan”, which seeks to strengthen national production and ensure more SMEs have access to financing. At Banorte, we believe that the future of Mexico is built with solid companies, diverse leaderships, and a strong bank that accompanies them.” Chairman of Grupo Financiero Banorte, Carlos Hank González, commented.
This award aligns with the 2024 launch of “Mujer PyME Banorte,” an innovative financial solution aimed at fostering the growth of women-led businesses, which has supported over 300 women entrepreneurs with nearly 700 million pesos in just 6 months.
Banorte solidifies a strong offering with a 15% share in SME segment loans and 14% in deposits, combining advanced digital infrastructure, personalized service, and products designed for each phase of business development.
This award acknowledges not just Banorte’s operational excellence, but also its strategic contribution to reinforcing the Mexican entrepreneurial fabric. In an economy undergoing transformation, the importance of having a national bank that comprehends and backs Mexican SMEs is greater than it has ever been.
