Grupo Banorte is once again recognized by LatinFinance

Grupo Financiero Banorte was recognized by the international publication LatinFinance at the 2025 Project & Infrastructure Finance Awards as Infrastructure Bank of the Year in Mexico and Port Financing of the Year in Latin America.

Carlos Hank González, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Grupo Financiero Banorte, acknowledged that infrastructure is the engine that drives Mexico’s development and improves the quality of life for families.

Due to its crucial role in funding high-impact infrastructure projects in vital industries including urban development, energy, and transportation, the financial institution was named the Best Infrastructure Bank of the Year.

vThe organization’s involvement in the financial planning of the Semi-Specialized Container and Cargo Terminal project in the Port of Veracruz’s North Bay earned it the title of Port Financing of the Year as well.

The reported $210 million price tag of this deal established a standard for the country’s port industry.
