Twenty billion pesos will be made overall from the Mexican Grand Prix

Mexico City’s mayor, Clara Brugada, confirmed that the tenth Formula One Grand Prix will have an economic impact of more than 20 billion pesos.
In order to open the Mexico City Pavilions to racegoers, the president of government was at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, the site of another round of the Formula 1 championship this weekend.
«The tenth Mexican Grand Prix will set new milestones for employment, tourism, and the economy. During these three days alone, we anticipate an economic impact of 20 billion pesos, nearly 90 percent hotel occupancy, and the creation of nearly 9,000 employment,» she said.
Clara Brugada emphasized the global recognition the Mexican capital will receive by hosting the World Cup the following year and the world’s premier motorsports event, which she claimed is assured until 2028.
