Meta and Nvidia partner to expand AI

Meta and Nvidia have made a new move in the world of Artificial Intelligence. On Tuesday, the semiconductor giant that develops servers for Artificial Intelligence announced a multi-year strategic partnership with Meta Platforms to build hyperscale data centers for AI training and inference applications.
With this, Nvidia said that Meta’s AI roadmap is backed by a large-scale deployment of NVIDIA CPUs, networks, and millions of NVIDIA Blackwell and Rubin GPUs. And the markets have not remained silent in response to this announcement.
In the first hour of trading today, Wednesday, February 18, Nvidia shares are up +2.5%, but Meta shares are down -0.1%. Other secondary players in the AI arena have also reacted: ARM is up +2.2%, Broadcom is up +0.4%, while AMD is down -2%.
