Nvidia’s record data center revenue earnings surpass forecasts

Despite investor apprehension in recent weeks over the quick rate of development and growing spending on AI, Nvidia reported $68.1 billion in sales on Wednesday, a 73% year-over-year rise.
According to FactSet, Nvidia’s quarterly sales of $68.1 billion and earnings per share of $1.62 were significantly higher than the $66.1 billion and $1.54 that experts had predicted.
With $215.9 billion in revenue and $4.77 in earnings per share, Nvidia surpassed the $213.8 billion and $4.69 in earnings per share projections, respectively.
In the fourth quarter, data center revenue hit a record $62.3 billion, up 75% from the previous year and representing almost 91% of the company’s total revenues. On Wednesday, Nvidia revealed $68.1 billion in sales, a 73% rise from the previous year.
