Wendy’s wants to pay $100,000 to a ‘tasting director’ amid the burger war

Wendy´s

In an attempt to capitalize on the rivalry between burger chains following the mockery of McDonald’s CEO for his viral online taste test of the company’s food, Wendy’s is hiring a «Taste Director» to eat fast food on their couch and make video reviews without any experience or qualifications. The position will pay $100,000.

A company spokesman told Forbes that the job posting, which was posted on a certain website outside of Wendy’s corporate domain, is legitimate.

Candidates must be willing to start as soon as feasible, and the position is mostly remote with minimal travel to nearby Wendy’s locations.

Although formal expertise is not necessary, candidates must feel at ease on camera and be able to articulate flavor beyond «its fire.»

Candidates only need to submit a creative video in order to apply.

The job is intended for one fortunate fan who is more interested in burgers than moving up the corporate ladder, according to a statement provided to Forbes.
