Kimberly-Clark Mexico places 595 million in stock certificates

According to a Monday announcement from the Mexican Stock Exchange, Kimberly-Clark de México placed $595 million in stock certificates through a transaction split into two issues.
The company issued KIMBER 26 for 8 billion pesos with a 12-year term that matures in February 2038 and KIMBER 26-2 for 2 billion pesos with a 2.6-year term that matures in October 2028.
On a national level, both issues were rated «MxAAA» by S&P Global Ratings and «AAA(mex)» by Fitch Mexico.
Scotia Inverlat Casa de Bolsa, Casa de Bolsa Santander, and HSBC Casa de Bolsa spearheaded the placement.
Kimberly-Clark de España, which has been listed on the BMV for over 60 years, produces and sells consumer goods such towels, napkins, toilet paper, and face tissues.
