CrowdStrike CEO promises system repair and apologizes for outage

CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz apologized Friday for a global technology failure that affected several industries and promised to work with all of its customers to get their operations back up and running.

«We deeply regret the impact we’ve caused customers, travelers and everyone affected by this, including our company,» he told NBC News’ Today show.

«Many of the customers are restarting the system and it is coming back on and will be operational,» Kurtz said. «It may take some time for some systems that will not automatically recover,» he added, but the company «will make sure all customers are fully recovered.»
