Trump Organization plans a second skyscraper in Saudi Arabia as part of its regional growth

Eric Trump, son of the US president-elect, said Thursday that the Trump Organization intends to develop a second tower in the Saudi capital as part of its real estate growth in the area, which would also include the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi.

The Trump Organization’s executive vice president declined to provide details as he announced two new projects in Riyadh in collaboration with Dubai-based luxury developer Dar Global.

Dar Global, the international branch of Saudi Arabia’s Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development Company, has closed many transactions with the Trump Organization, including plans for towers in Jeddah and Dubai, as well as the Oman project.

During his first term, Donald Trump had tight ties with Gulf states, including Saudi Arabia, which invested $2 billion in a company founded by Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law and former adviser.
