Thousands of individuals notice malfunctions with the chat software Slack

Workplace messaging platform Slack was experiencing outages Wednesday morning, with nearly 3,000 people reporting problems with the service on DownDetector.

Slack’s technical panel initially reported issues with users connecting to or loading the communication platform around 10:27 a.m. EST.

As of 11:07 a.m. EST, around 2,798 users have reported problems with Slack via DownDetector, a website that records outages across all platforms.

As of 11:08 a.m. EST, Slack stated that its team is «working to restore functionality to affected Slack features, but also discovered that some workflows may be experiencing issues.»
