«Hello» was the new CEO of Apple’s quick statement on the X network

On Tuesday, John Ternus assumed leadership of Apple. On his first day as CEO, he posted a quick «hello» on a new profile on the social network X.

Elon Musk, the platform’s owner, reacted quickly to his appearance on it by quoting the post and remarking, «Apple’s new CEO posting on X.»

Musk also used the occasion to say «Congratulations!» in direct response to Ternus’s initial message.

Popular content creator iJustine was among the first in the tech world to greet the new executive with an exuberant «HELLO!!!!» The excitement was evident right away.

Ternus has become the company’s second CEO since Steve Jobs’ departure in 2011, ending Tim Cook’s 15-year tenure at the helm of the tech giant.

Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook, stepped down on Monday, assuring everyone that his commitment to the company remains unwavering.

«Sending lots of love to the Apple community on my last day as CEO. My title changes tomorrow, but my love for the Apple community never will,» Cook wrote on X.

Under Cook’s leadership, the company grew from a market capitalization of $350 billion to a $4 trillion tech giant.

Cook, who now becomes executive chairman of the board, thanked the community «for being a constant source of inspiration» and will remain involved with the company to manage relationships with global policymakers and address tariff tensions affecting the supply chain.
