Bernard Arnault, the owner of LVMH, has named his daughter as the new head of Christian Dior.
Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE (LVMH), a French luxury conglomerate with a fast-growing and profitable Fashion business in Europe, is making headlines for one of its biggest management shuffles. Bernard Arnault, owner of LVMH, has strengthened his family’s grip on the business by naming his only daughter, Delphine Arnault, as Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer of Christian Dior Couture. Bernard Arnault appointed his son Antoine Arnault as CEO of the family-holding company, Christian Dior SE, which owns a significant stake in LVMH.
Delphine took over for Pietro Beccari, who had led the label since 2018. Beccari has been appointed as Louis Vuitton’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. This position was previously held by industry veteran Michael Burke, who will now take on new responsibilities and report directly to Bernard Arnault.
