AT&T Televisa

Grupo Televisa announced on Tuesday that a partnership between the company and Fintech Holdings has finalized a deal with AT&T, Inc. to purchase AT&T’s mobile telecom operations in Mexico.

The deal entails a cost of Televisa announced $2 billion, pending specific adjustments. The Consortium intends to fund the purchase via a mix of cash “on hand and non-recourse debt financing,” Televisa announced in a statement issued to the Mexican Stock Exchange.

Televisa highlighted that AT&T Mexico ranks as the second-largest mobile operator in Mexico, boasting around 24.7 million mobile subscribers as of December 31, 2025, and offers integrated telecommunications services—which include mobile telephony, internet, and value-added services—through concession licenses awarded by the SICT.

«By December 31, 2025, AT&T» Mexico disclosed consolidated revenues totaling 85.4 billion pesos along with operating income.
“amounting to 1.4 billion pesos,” it noted.

Televisa also mentioned that the deal is dependent on standard closing conditions, such as obtaining regulatory approvals, and is anticipated to finalize in the first quarter of 2027.
