Bitcoin achieves a record high

The world’s largest cryptocurrency by market value, Bitcoin, has risen more than 23% in the last 30 days and reached an all-time high of US$ 109,487 on Wednesday morning, according to Coinmarketcap.
Investors are jumping on the cryptocurrency, which reached an all-time high of more than US$ 109,400 on Wednesday.
When President Donald Trump was re-elected in November, Bitcoin first surged on expectations of a pro-crypto administration. Before rebounding in recent weeks, the extremely volatile cryptocurrency dropped as low as US$76,000 in April.
At a time when lawmakers were trying to adopt historic cryptocurrency legislation, the new high beats the previous record of slightly over US$ 109,000 set in January.
