Ferrari boosts projections after exceeding projections; there is a high demand for the electrified Luce model

After exceeding market expectations for operating profit and revenue in the third quarter, Ferrari increased its profitability projections for the year on Tuesday. This move caused shares of the Italian luxury sports car maker to rise by as much as 4.7%.
Sales of cars with larger profit margins and money from profitable customisation options contributed to Ferrari’s impressive performance. The company’s order book currently covers 2028, and manufacture of the «Luce»—the company’s first entirely electric model—is scheduled to begin in 2027 and is «already fully allocated.»
CEO Benedetto Vigna said, «We have a robust order book,» adding that the company has not seen any effect on consumer demand as a result of the ongoing geopolitical unrest.
Vigna stated that test activities planned for early 2027—for both the media and consumers. Will help further increase interest in the model. With the first deliveries of the Luce to customers anticipated to occur within the current quarter.
Ferrari intends to introduce two more models before the year is over, the CEO continued. «We are convinced that clients will be happy with them,» he declared.
Shortly after the results were announced, the company’s shares, which are traded on the Milan Stock Exchange. Reversed early losses and were up 2.9% at 15:10 GMT.
Ferrari adjusted profits
By 2026, Ferrari anticipates that its adjusted profits before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) will have increased. From at least 2.97 billion euros to at least 3 billion euros ($3.36 billion).
The company anticipates generating up to 1.65 billion euros in industrial free cash flow by 2026, and it has marginally increased its net revenue forecast for this year.
Higher-than-anticipated demand for «personalizations»—the extra, pricey options that buyers want for to customize their cars to their own preferences. Particularly within the 296 model family, is the reason for this upward revision in Ferrari’s projections. The brand’s current second-place position in the Formula 1 Championship and a less negative currency impact both contribute to this.
