Lego’s sales reach a new high, and the company earns 8% more in the year’s first half

The Lego Group, a Danish toy manufacturer, reported a net profit of 6.5 billion kroner (€871 million) for the first half of 2025, marking an 8.3% increase compared to the same period last year.
Revenues for the six-month period reached an unprecedented 34.6 billion kronor (€4.635 billion), reflecting an 11.6% increase compared to the previous year. Conversely, the company’s expenditures amounted to 25.6 billion kronor (3,429 million euros), representing an increase of 11.8%.
Lego’s business performance surpassed that of the toy industry due to robust demand for its product range across all market segments, particularly in Western Europe, Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Simultaneously, the firm allocated EUR 563 million for building new factories and upgrading current facilities, which represented a decrease of 6.7% compared to the first half of 2024. The free cash flow amounted to €228 million, in contrast to €402 million the year before.
