The NBA and Amazon collaborate on cloud-based AI services

The National Basketball Association (NBA) in the US and Amazon Web Services, the company’s cloud division, launched a multi-year agreement Wednesday to introduce new services based on artificial intelligence and game data.
The deal, which has no monetary value attached to it, will launch «NBA Inside the Game,» a basketball platform that will transform data into knowledge and engaging experiences.
Artificial intelligence has been embraced by sports organizations more and more. They have partnered with cloud service providers to leverage machine learning to supply spectators with comprehensive information.
The NBA Inside the Game platform will include live broadcast capabilities as well as content available through the NBA app, website, and other social media.
