CoreWeave secures $14 billion AI infrastructure pact with Meta

CoreWeave struck a $14 billion contract with Meta to deliver computing capacity, the latest multibillion-dollar transaction as businesses extend their infrastructure to satisfy demand for artificial intelligence (AI) applications.
CoreWeave’s stock soared 10% in pre-market trade when the news broke on Tuesday.
According to a Bloomberg story citing an interview with CoreWeave’s CEO, Michael Intrator, the partnership will grant Facebook’s parent firm access to Nvidia’s most recent GB300 systems.
The new agreement comes only a week after CoreWeave signed a third multi-million-dollar cloud expansion with OpenAI to assist the ChatGPT developer with its computing requirements, as officials anticipate increasing consumer demand.
