Banorte assists victims in Hidalgo, Puebla, and Veracruz

The Banorte Foundation allocated 2.4 million pesos for food supplies and launched an additional fundraising program for housing reconstruction, actions planned to support families affected by the recent rains in the states of Veracruz, Puebla, and Hidalgo.
This support was distributed thanks to partnerships with the organizations Concentrarte, World Vision, Origen, Save the Children, and AMA Food Bank, and benefited more than 3,000 families through the delivery of food supplies, cleaning and hygiene kits, and blankets.
“At Fundación Banorte, we are committed to being there when Mexico needs us most. We know that solidarity makes us stronger and that every action counts in helping families recover and move forward. Together with our partners, we bring aid and hope,” said Carlos Hank González, president of the foundation.
The aid was channeled to communities in Ledezma and Nicolás Flores in Hidalgo; Álamo, Huayacocotla, Poza Rica, and Tuxpan in Veracruz; and Cuetzalan del Progreso and Xicotepec in Puebla.
In addition to food pantries and fundraising, Banorte sent a mobile unit to the city of Poza Rica so that residents could make cash withdrawals, check their balances, pay bills, and purchase airtime.
