In the first half of 2026, McDonald’s made $4,345 billion, a 5% increase

The U.S. fast-food chain McDonald’s reported a net profit of $4,345 billion in the first half of 2026, up 5% from the same period last year, the company announced on Tuesday.

The chain reported revenue of $13,616 billion in the first half of the year, a 6% year-over-year increase, while operating profit rose 7% to $6,292 billion.

In the second quarter, the group earned $2,362 billion, up 5% from a year earlier, with revenue of $7,099 million, an increase of 4%.

Global comparable sales rose 1.3% between April and June. In the United States, they increased 0.8%, driven by higher average spending per customer and an improved product mix, according to the statement, although the number of visitors to its stores declined compared to the previous year.

International markets operated directly by the company posted 1.5% growth in comparable sales, with Germany, Australia, and the United Kingdom among the main drivers.
