Nvidia Teams Up with Wall Street Giants to Raise $500 Billion

Nvidia announced that it has partnered with six major financial institutions to launch computing financing platforms. With the goal of raising more than $500 billion in third-party capital for AI infrastructure.

The move highlights how the recent demand for AI computing capacity is attracting institutional investors, as governments, corporations, and startups compete to build data centers to support AI workloads.

Major tech companies have indicated that spending on AI is not expected to slow down, with combined spending set to exceed $730 billion this year.

For the finance platforms, Nvidia inked memorandums of understanding with Apollo, BlackRock, Blackstone, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs, and KKR.

In addition to providing longer-term, usage-based investment options for major asset managers and private equity firms. The project seeks to increase access to Nvidia-based infrastructure for cutting-edge AI developers, businesses, governments, and cloud providers.

“These funding platforms will help customers access scarce computing resources at scale and build the AI factories that will drive all industries and countries in the AI era,” said Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang.

Nvidia said the agreements “would create dedicated pools of capital at a significant scale and at attractive rates” for its customers.

The company did not disclose the financial terms, investment commitments from individual companies, or a timeline for the deployment of the planned $500 billion. “These financing platforms will help customers access scarce computing resources at scale and build the AI factories that will drive all industries and countries in the AI era,” said Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang.
