Walmart declares plans to invest $500 million in a robotic warehouse in Silao

With an estimated 500 million dollars, Walmart started building a distribution center in Silao, Guanajuato.
More than 600 shops and clubs in Aguascalientes, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Michoacán, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí, Tamaulipas, and Zacatecas will be served by the new hub.
The impending launch of this distribution facility in Guanajuato, according to CEO and Director Ignacio CAride, «reaffirms the company’s commitment to the state, as well as to automation and simplification.»
