Following a significant fundraising round, OpenAI is now valued at $852 billion

Open AI Sam Altman

The artificial intelligence behemoth revealed on Tuesday that OpenAI had raised $122 billion in its most recent funding round, increasing its post-investment valuation to $852 billion.

The statement claims that OpenAI partners like Amazon, Nvidia, Microsoft, and SoftBank supported the investment round. This most recent assessment, which reached a price of $730 billion, was made just over a month after the business announced $110 billion in fundraising.

Individual investors were able to contribute more than $3 billion to OpenAI’s financing round this month.

$2 billion. According to the revelation made on Tuesday, OpenAI receives that sum of money per month. It brought in $13.1 billion last year.

Despite its high income, OpenAI is not yet profitable. The business is incurring significant operating costs as a result of the costs associated with developing infrastructure and training AI models.

The Guardian claims that if OpenAI continues at its current rate, it would spend half a trillion dollars by 2030.
