The Mango billionaire’s son has been detained while being questioned about the death of his father

Jonathan Andic, the son of Isak Andic, the billionaire founder of the Spanish fast-fashion retailer Mango. Was arrested and detained by Spanish police ahead of a court appearance related to his father’s death in 2024, after he fell during a hike, according to several reports.
Jonathan was detained and taken before a judge at a court outside Barcelona for questioning. Police in the Spanish region told Reuters, although the investigation remains under wraps.
Isak Andic died in December 2024 after falling about 300 feet while hiking in Montserrat. A mountain in Catalonia, and his death was initially investigated as an accident.
According to the Spanish newspaper El Río, investigators later started looking into the billionaire’s death as a potential homicide in 2025.
