CNBV Grants Nu México Authorization to Begin Operations as a Bank
Nue was given permission to start operating as a bank by the National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV).
«Nue has 30 calendar days to finish its transition to a bank in compliance with current legislation. The banking institution stated in a statement, «During this time, it will continue to communicate with its customers in a timely and clear manner about the next steps—their experience remains unchanged for the time being—and will remind them that its support channels are available 24/7 through the app.»
Mexico is a significant market for the corporation, thus this is a «decisive step» in its long-term commitment to the nation, the statement continued, «with a projected total investment of 4,200 million by 2030.»
