Primark will be introduced by Liverpool using a franchise model

Liverpool, one of Mexico’s top retailers, announced it will use a franchise model to bring the global apparel brand Primark to the country to expand its product selection and attract new customers.
«Through this partnership, Liverpool strengthens its portfolio and expands its relationships with global brands,» the Mexican firm said in a statement. Primark, which was founded in Ireland in 1969, has over 500 stores in 19 regions and specializes in reasonably priced clothes and basics.
The retailer did not provide the locations, opening dates, investment amount, or rate of growth.
It said, «Details will be shared as the planning process moves forward.»
El Puerto de Liverpool runs 173 specialty shops and 321 stores in Mexico under the Liverpool and Suburbia brands.
