Banorte is authorized to operate Bineo

Grupo Financiero Banorte said that the National Banking and Securities Commission approved the launch of Banco Bineo, its digital bank, on December 11. This move is in accordance with the company’s strategic plan, which involves the establishment of a fully digital bank as one of its pillars.

«The launch of our digital bank, scheduled for January 2024, represents a milestone for the financial system in Mexico. Our commitment to financial innovation has led us to develop, through Banco Bineo, a platform that combines security, simplicity and efficiency with a customer-centric approach,» he stated.

He underlined that the opening of its digital bank is a significant development for Mexico’s financial sector.
