Following a trade truce with the United States, China lifts its restriction on Boeing deliveries

Following a trade truce with the United States, China lifted its restriction on airlines receiving Boeing aircraft, Bloomberg News reported Tuesday, citing people with knowledge of the situation.

The trade war between the two biggest economies in the world was halted on Monday when the United States and China agreed to reduce their tariffs for a minimum of ninety days.

According to a Bloomberg story, Beijing officials started informing local airlines and government organizations this week that deliveries of aircraft built in the United States would restart.

Boeing stated in April that it was thinking of reselling dozens of aircraft after several of its Chinese customers had expressed that they would not accept deliveries of new aircraft due to the tariffs.
