According to multiple media reports, the Los Angeles Lakers will be sold to Mark Walter of the Los Angeles Dodgers for a $10 billion price tag. If the deal goes through, it will be the biggest acquisition in sports history.

The Buss family consented to give Walter the bulk of the Lakers’ ownership while keeping a 15% minority share for an unspecified amount of time.

The Lakers might be worth $12 billion after the sale, according to The Athletic, which cited an unnamed source with knowledge of the talks.
