Banorte opened its 1,200th branch office in Monterrey

As part of its expansion strategy, Banorte has announced the inauguration of its 1,200th branch in the Monterrey metropolitan region, in the municipality of Santiago, Nuevo León.
According to a press release, the bank launched 51 branches in 2024 and will add another 50 access options to its branch network this year for the benefit of its customers.
Fernando Valenzuela Bracamontes, regional director of Banorte’s Northern Zone, stated that the establishment of this new branch consolidates the banking group’s presence in the country.
The institution added that the branch will have highly qualified executives to service a specific market, as well as cutting-edge technology and processes to deliver a personalized experience to its consumers.
«The branches have self-service devices where customers will be able to perform various transactions optimizing service times, such as: deposits in ATMs, printing of account statements in the digital zone, cash withdrawal without a card through the app and service payments,» stated the lender.
The mayor of Santiago, Nuevo León, David de la Peña, has pledged to continue working with the financial group led by Carlos Hank González to establish an investment organization.
Finally, the bank noted that by expanding its branch network, Banorte encourages access to financial services while also fostering economic development in many regions of the country.
